Choosing a Hawaii Independent Physician (Hawaii IPA) as Your Primary Care Physician is Easy.

Hawaii IPA physicians are affiliated with most health plans serving Hawaii residents. Choosing the right Medical Group is vital because it will determine which doctors and hospitals you may access.

To select a Hawaii Independent Physician as your Primary Care Physician, simply:

• Choose and join one of the plans listed on this website.

• At the time you have selected your plan, make sure to select your Hawaii IPA physician.

• Contact the Member Services Department of the chosen plan. The number to call is normally on the front or back of your health plan insurance card. Request that the Plan enroll you with the physician you have selected and with Hawaii IPA as your medical group.
